Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (17-26) play Game 3 of a four-game series against the South Division's first-place Charlotte Knights (23-18) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 3-1 win last night, the Pigs are now on a season-high, five-game winning streak -- which started with a three-game sweep in Syracuse from May 18-20. The Pigs have also won in seven of their last nine contests and have gone 11-6 since starting 6-20 through May 4... The Knights -- the White Sox top affiliate -- fell to 2-3 on their on their seven-game, North Division road trip. Still, the Knights remain 9-5 in their last 14 affairs, a span that started with a season-high, five-game winning streak from May 9-13 (which immediately followed a season-high, five-game skid that dropped them to 14-13)... The Pigs have won five straight contests over the Knights dating back to June 17, 2014.
RHP Phillippe Aumont (2-1, 1.38) will start for LHV against RHP Junior Guerra (0-2, 2.16).
Tonight is a Fireworks Saturday, presented by Penn State Lehigh Valley... First Pitch is at 6:35 p.m.
