Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons take on the Mud Hens in the third game of a four-game series at Fifth Third Field (7:00 p.m.). The series is tied 1-1 after Toledo's 3-2 win last night. The Bisons are 3-2 on this seven-game Ohio roadtrip that began with a 2-1 series win in Columbus. The Herd starts a seven-game homestand Monday against Indianapolis.

vs. the Mud Hens

The Bisons and Mud Hens have split six games so far this year. The teams split a four-game set at Coca-Cola Field last week. Tonight's and Sunday's contests will be the final regular-season games this year between the two teams.

Miguel Castro

RHP MIGUEL CASTRO makes his fourth start with the Bisons this season. The 20-year old allowed three unearned runs in 2.1 innings of work in a defeat in Columbus on Monday. The righty threw a season-best 57 pitches as he continues to be stretched out after starting the year with 13 appearances out of the Blue Jays' bullpen.

Brad Glenn

In 12 games since May 11, OF BRAD GLENN has more hits (20), runs scored (12) and RBI (12) than any other hitter in the International League. In that week and a half stretch, Glenn has averaged .435 (20-46) with a .519 on-base pct. and a .804 slugging pct. Glenn has five doubles, four home runs and eight walks in the 12 contests.

Jose Reyes

Blue Jays INF JOSE REYES has averaged .286 (2-7) with two walks on his MLB injury rehab assignment with the club. Reyes also rehabbed with the Bisons in 2013 and hit in all four games during that stint as well. Reyes has a career .375 (9-24) average in six games with the Herd.

Pitching Staff

The Bisons' team ERA of 2.47 is almost a half a run better than any other team in the league (Indianapolis, 2.95). Opponents have hit just .236 against Herd pitching with 43 less hits (329) than innings played (372.0). Buffalo led the IL last year with a 3.52 team ERA as well.

INF MATT HAGUE leads the International League with 54 hits...INF KEVIN NOLAN has hit in all seven games he's played with the Herd this year with a .364 (8-22) average...LHP RANDY WOLF leads all qualifying IL pitchers with a 0.94 ERA

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (19-25) lost 4-3 to the Mariners tonight. Former Bison Chris Colabello hit a two-run home run in the ninth inning as part of a three-hit night. Edwin Encarnacion also went deep for the Jays. Toronto hosts Seattle again today at 1:07 p.m.
