Lewikci to Represent Bees at All-Star Game
January 5, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced on Wednesday that Killer Bees forward Aaron Lewicki will be joining the 2011 CHL All-Star team. Lewicki joins a group of three reserve players who have been welcomed on the team due to the inability of others to play.
Lewicki has been an offensive leader for the Bees this season with 12 goals and 12 assists.
Killer Bees defenseman Darcy Campbell will not take part in the 2011 All-Star game as he continues to recover from an injury. Campbell received the most votes of any player for the CHL All-Star team.
"I'm sure Darcy wishes he was able to play in the game," continued Bees coach Chris Brooks. "But Aaron is a great representative for our team and I'm happy for him."
The 2011 All-Star game takes place on January 12 at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, S.D. and is available on CHL-TV for fans to watch.
