Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The fifth-place IronPigs (16-26) play Game Two of a four-game series against the North's third-place Buffalo Bisons (26-17) -- the Mets' top affiliate. With a 4-1 loss last night, the 'Pigs have lost two straight games and have fallen to 1-4 on this eight-game home stand. The Pigs are just 5-12 in their last 17 affairs.
Buffalo has on four in a row, previously taking a home series from Charlotte, 3-1. The surging Bisons have also gone 9-2 in their past 11 games after losing five of six.... At this point last season, the struggling Bisons were 13-30 (a 13-G swing)!
First-pitch is at 1:35 p.m. for Youth Cap Giveaway Day, as presented by Capital BlueCross.
