TODAY'S GAME: This afternoon, the Bisons take on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in the second game of a four-game series from Coca-Cola Park (1:35 p.m.). The Herd won the series opener last night, 4-1. The Bisons have now won four straight games for the third time this season. This series is the four road games in a stretch where the Bisons play 16 of 20 at home, May 14-June 3. The Herd is 10-11 on the road this season.

vs. THE IRONPIGS: Last night, the Bisons collected just their sixth win in 17 tries at Coca-Cola Park. Buffalo lost both road series in Lehigh Valley in 2009 and have never won a four-game set at Coca-Cola Park. Overall, the IronPigs hold an 18-15 advantage over the Bisons in their two years of existence.

HIT MACHINE: OF JESUS FELICIANO can become the first Bisons player to reach 12 games in a hit streak this season. OF MIKE CERVENAK and OF CHRIS CARTER also had 11-game streaks this season. In his 11-game stretch since May 12, Feliciano has hit .442 (19-43) with nine runs scored. Feliciano's .375 average on the year is 26 points higher than any other player in the IL.

NOW CERVING: INF/OF MIKE CERVENAK has been activated off the disabled list. He had missed the last 17 games with right plantar fasciitis. So far this season, Cervenak has hit .228 (18-79) with two home runs and six RBI. Cervenak was an International League All-Star in each of the last two seasons with Lehigh Valley.

STREAKIN': INF MIKE JACOBS enters today's game on a seven-game hit streak. Since May 16, the first baseman has averaged .290 (9-31) with four RBI and six runs scored. Jacobs has also reached base in 22 consecutive games and has averaged .270 (24-89) with nine walks since April 29. The 22-game stretch is the longest active on-base streak in the International League.

HESS IS THE BEST: With 47RBI on the year, INF MIKE HESSMAN has eight more RBI than any other player in the International League. Hessman also leads the International League in home runs (14), slugging percentage (.660), extra-base hits (29) and total bases (103). Hessman is tied for first in runs scored (32) and tied for second in doubles (15).

METS UPDATE: The Mets (21-23) pulled even in this year's Subway Series with a 5-3 victory over the Yankees last night. RHP MIKE PELFREY allowed just one run in six innings to improve to 6-1 on the season. OF JASON BAY was a perfect 4-4 with a double and three runs scored. The two rivals square off tonight for Sunday Night Baseball at 8:05 p.m. from Citi Field.
