
Legends Take Second Straight Over Hagerstown 10-7.

The Lexington Legends scored in double digits for the second straight game as they took a 10-7 win over the Hagerstown Suns Tuesday night at Applebee's Park.
Second baseman Jimmy Paredes had four hits in five at bats for the Legends. Catcher Rene Garcia, in the lineup for the first time since August 6 because of soreness in his elbow, had three hits. Paredes, shortstop Jiovanni Mier and third baseman Jonathan Meyer each had two RBI for Lexington.
Hagerstown jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a solo home run by J.P. Ramirez and back-to-back doubles by Dustin Hood and Brett Newsome.
The Legends got one run back in the bottom of the second when Ben Heath led off with his fourth home run as a Legend, a 430-foot blast over the wall in straightaway center field. Lexington added three runs in the third inning and one in the fourth.
In the Lexington fourth. Grant Hogue led off with a double, and went to third on a single by Jimmy Paredes, the second of Paredes' four hits in the game. After Paredes stole second, Hogue scored as Jiovanni Mier grounded out.
Brad Dydalewicz (1-4) relieved starter Zach Grimmett at the start of the fourth inning and worked three scoreless innings to get his first win of the year. Hagerstown starter Graham Hicks (1-6) was the losing pitcher.
The Legends have won the first two games in the four-game series, including a 14-1 win Monday night. The two teams will meet again Wednesday night at 7:05 p.m.
