Legends Come up Short in Final Seconds to OKC Blue

Frisco, TX - In another down-to-the-wire battle between the Texas Legends (2-5) and Oklahoma City Blue (3-4), the Legends fell just short in the final seconds of regulation, dropping the second game of their back-to-back series 112-110 at Comerica Center.

Matthew Cleveland led the Legends with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Dalano Banton finished with 19 points and 8 assists. Zhaire Smith contributed 18 points on an efficient 5-of-9 shooting, and Jamarion Sharp anchored the paint with 8 rebounds and 6 blocks. Sheldon Edwards added a spark off the bench with 17 points, including four made threes.

Oklahoma City was led by former first-round pick Dariq Whitehead's 27 points off the bench, while Viktor Lakhin added 22 points and 12 rebounds. The Blue shot a collective 51.2% from the field and connected on 14 threes to overcome their 17 turnovers.

The Legends fall to 2-5 on the season while the Blue improve to 3-4. Texas will look to regroup after the Thanksgiving break, returning to Comerica Center to host the Mexico City Capitanes for the first of back-to-back games on Friday, November 28th. Tipoff is set for 7:30 PM CT.
