
Legends beat Captains 4-2 in the tenth

(Eastlake, OH)--Mark Ori drove in the eventual winning runs with a two-run triple in the 10th inning Thursday night, leading the Lexington Legends to a 4-2 win over the Lake County Captains at Classic Park.
Ori's hit not only gave the Legends the win, but helped clinch the SAL first-half title for the Legends as well.
Ori's triple came off Captains righthander Matt Davis with two outs in the 10th, and drove in Wladimir Sutil and Eric King, who previously drew walks off Captains reliever Dustin Roddy (2-2).
The Captains (28-39) tied the game 2-2 in the ninth with a two-out, solo homer by Fernando Pacheco off Brandon Stricklen (4-1). It was Pacheco's 10th homer of the season.
The Captains will finish the first-half with a three-game series at Lakewood beginning Friday night at 7:05. RH Albert Vargas is scheduled to start for the Captains.
After the weekend series at Lakewood, the SAL All-Star game will come to Classic Park on Tuesday, June 20th at 7:35 P.M. Tickets are still available for the game by calling (440) 954-WINS
