Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Senators had their modest two-game winning streak snapped with a 4-2 loss to Altoona Thursday night at PNG Field. Harrisburg loaded the bases in the ninth but couldn't capitalize on the situation in the loss. The Senators led 2-0 after three in the game. Sens starter Cade Cavalli struck out a Senators season high 11 batters.
ON CAPITAL HILL
Cade Cavalli went 5.2 innings striking out 11 and walking 4. He threw 103 pitches, 65 for strikes. Both runs he allowed came with two outs.
Ryan Tapani followed Cavalli coming on with two outs in the sixth and ending the frame with a strikeout. He finished the game and allowed a two-run home in the eighth to give Altoona the lead. Ryan took the loss falling to 0-2.
WITH THE GAVEL
Corban Joseph went 2-for-4 and drove in a run with a single in the third inning.
Jakson Reetz had two hits including a double as he snapped his five-game hitless streak.
Carlos Tocci had two hits and an RBI.
Cole Freeman doubled in the third inning extending his hit streak to eight games.
FILIBUSTERS
The Senators went 2-for-10 with runners in scoring and stranded ten in the game. Of the ten, they left five in scoring position. The Senators were errorless for the 21st game this season.

The Senators and Altoona Curve play game four of their six-game series Friday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field at 7:00 p.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Harrisburg 96.5FM 95.3FM and 1400AM beginning at 6:40 p.m.
