
Larsen late goal lifts Wolves past Ducks

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Brad Larsen scored the winning goal with 48 seconds left in the third period to lift the Chicago Wolves to a 3-2 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Friday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Stephen Weiss and Greg Hawgood also scored for the Wolves, who won their sixth straight game and improved to 12-0-1-0 in their last 13.
Kari Lehtonen finished with 41 saves for Chicago, which has won its last four road games.
Pierre Parenteau and Joel Perrault scored goals for Cincinnati, which suffered just its fourth regulation loss in its last 21 games at home (16-4-0-1).
Ilya Bryzgalov, who entered the game with a 0.67 goals-against average in his previous three starts, stopped 17 of the 20 shots he faced in the loss.
The Ducks play tonight at 7 p.m. at Cleveland.
