
Larry Taylor Named Special Teams Player Of The Week

Montreal, Sept. 10, 2008 - Return specialist Larry Taylor has been named CFL's Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 11, following the Alouettes' 45-19 win over the Toronto Argonauts at Percival Molson Stadium last Sunday.
Taylor registered 137 yards on punt returns, including a 69-yard runback for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Taylor is currently fourth in the CFL with 380 yards and one touchdown on 27 punt returns in just six games.
Calvillo runner-up
Quarterback Anthony Calvillo runner-up for Offensive Player of the Week, finishing second to Saskatchewan quarterback Michael Bishop. Calvillo completed 36 of his 49 passes for 369 yards and three majors on top of scoring one touchdown on the ground.
The Alouettes will next face the Stampeders at Calgary's McMahon Stadium this Friday Sept. 12 at 10 p.m. Eastern time (RDS, TSN, CKAC SPORTS, CJAD).
