
Langdon Regains Captaincy of Bulls

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that Scott Langdon has been named captain for the second season. Jordan Morrison and Mark Lee have been named alternate captains.
"Scott proved last season he was the leader of this team" said SF Bulls President and Head Coach Pat Curcio. "He's already shown again at the beginning of this season he is ready to take this team into battle. Jordan and Mark will be keys to keeping this team together on and off the ice."
Langdon, 28, served as the Bulls' captain to end the 2012-13 season and enters his sixth season of professional hockey. The 6-foot, 3-inch, 215-pound, Ancaster, Ontario native led the Bulls with 150 penalty minutes and a +6 rating. In 67 games with the Bulls, Langdon totaled 12 points (1 goal, 11 assists). He was named the team's Top Defenseman and won the Fan Favorite Award. In 281 career professional games in the American Hockey League (AHL), ECHL and Central Hockey League (CHL), the product of Niagara University recorded 63 points (12 goals, 51 assists) and 581 penalty minutes.
Morrison, 27, is back for his second season with the Bulls, after finishing third on the team in scoring in 2012-13 with 41 points (16 goals, 25 assists) in 70 games. He began the 2013-14 season with Ouellet in Kazakhstan. The 5-foot, 10-inch, 185-pound, Uxbridge, Ontario native, has totaled 205 points (74 goals, 131 assists) in 276 career ECHL games. A seventh-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins in in 2004, Morrison also suited up in 2008-09 with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL, earning an assist in seven games. Prior to turning pro, Morrison skated two seasons for Dalhousie University of Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS), leading the team in points both seasons. With Peterborough of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), he totaled 191 points (75 goals, 116 assists) in 259 games over four seasons.
Lee, 29, spent the previous three seasons playing in Finland. The 5-foot, 11-inch, 184-pound native of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, set Finnish career-highs in 2010-11 with 11 goals, 25 assists and 36 points in 53 games with Ilves. He also played one season in Denmark, serving as an alternate captain for Esbjerg. Prior to heading overseas, Lee recorded nine points (4 goals, 5 assists) in 52 AHL games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Hartford Wolf Pack. He also compiled 191 points (64 goals, 127 assists) in 178 ECHL games with Trenton Titans, Charlotte Checkers and Florida Everblades.
