PEARL, MS - Mississippi Braves infielder Emerson Landoni has been promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett from Double-A Mississippi, and catcher Matt Kennelly has been activated off the M-Braves disabled list.

Landoni, 27, was hitting .222 through 14 games with the Double-A Braves this season. Landoni was named Organizational Player of the Year for the M-Braves last season after hitting .297 in 118 games. The Maracay, Venezuela, native was signed by the Braves as a free agent on December 20, 2011. He was originally signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Marlins in December 2005 but was released prior to the 2007 season. Landoni then signed with the Yankees in 2008 where he played four seasons before joining the Braves organization.

Kennelly, 27, started the season on the M-Braves disabled list. Last season, the Australian spent most of the season at Double-A (.220, 73 games) but also appeared in 18 games at Triple-A Gwinnett, hitting .204. He was signed by the Braves as a minor league free agent on November 4, 2015. Kennelly has spent the majority of his nine professional seasons in the Braves organization. However, he did have a brief stint with the Reds in 2013.

The Mississippi roster has 25 active players and 1 disabled.
