RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers edged out the Fargo Force in the final meetup of the season series, 3-2 on Friday night.

The game did not see its first goal until the second period when Richardson (3:08) netted the puck past Dobes. The Lancers evened the game when Liam Devlin (10:04) shot the puck past Boynton. Owen Fowler and Cam Mitchell assisted Devlin on the goal. The game stayed tied 1-1 to end the second period.

In the third, and on the power-play, Nolan Renwick (2:00) shot the puck from the right circle to beat Boynton going top-self. Zach Dubinsky and Ryan Lautenbach assisted Renwick. Soon after, Renwick (3:07) struck again, beating Boyton this time on the five-hole. Cam Mitchell was called on the assist. Later into the final frame, Davidson (11:29) netted the second Fargo goal of the night. The Lancers kept the Force from scoring with an extra attacker nearing the end of the game to hold on for a final score of 3-2. Dobes stopped 26 of the 28 Fargo shots he faced in the win. The Lancers finished off the year-long series against Fargo, 6-2.

The Lancers are now 27-20-1-1 on the year with 54 points and a spot at third in the USHL Western Conference.

The Lancers are back in action on Saturday, April 10th to take on the Sioux City Musketeers. The opening puck drop is set for 6:05 PM. All of the action is on MixLR and HockeytV.
