RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers downed the Sioux City Musketeers by a final score of 6-1 on Saturday night.

In the first period, Jack Randl (16:50) flipped the puck in towards Akira Schmid. The puck skipped off the ice and went in underneath Schmid's right leg to get the Lancers their first goal of the night.

The Lancers kept on the attack in the second period when Luke Mobley (1:13) netted his 13th of the season. Late in the period, Ryan Lautenbach (19:37) added to the Lancers lead scoring his fourth of the season to make the score 3-0.

In the third period, Chase Bradley (4:27) netted an unassisted goal. The Lancers went on a 5-minute power play where they scored twice. Jack Randl (6:41) scored his second of the night followed up by Chase Bradley (7:11) earning his second as well during the power play to get the score 6-0. With a shutout on the line, Nolan Krenzen (17:24) scored the lone goal for the Musketeers. The Lancers went on to close the game out with a final score of 6-1. Kyle McClellan stopped 21 of the 22 Musketeer shots he faced in the win.

The Lancers are now 15-11-6-1 on the year with 37 points and a spot at 4th in the Western Conference. The Lancers will face off tomorrow against the Tri-City Storm in Kearney, NE. Puck drop is at 7:05 PM. All of the action can be heard on KOIL 1290 AM and HockeyTV.
