Lambos Named to Canada's National Junior Team Selection Camp

The Winnipeg ICE congratulate defenseman Carson Lambos on being named to the 35 player roster for Canada's National Junior Team selection camp.

Lambos is one of 11 defensemen invited to the camp set for December 9th to 12th in Calgary.

Lambos, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, currently has 18 points (5 goals and 13 assists), is +21 and has 24 penalty minutes in 19 games in his third WHL season. In 2019-20, the 18 year old had 32 points (8 goals and 24 assists) to lead all WHL rookie defenseman in scoring and was +20 in 57 games.

Lambos represented Canada in 2019-2020 at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge where he registered 5 assists in 6 games.

The ICE selected Lambos in the 1st round, 2nd overall in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

The Minnesota Wild selected Lambos in the 1st round, 26th overall in the 2021 NHL Draft.

The 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship takes place December 26th to January 5th in Edmonton and Red Deer.
