Lalli named to North Division's All-Star starting lineup

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - Blake Lalli of the Tennessee Smokies was named Wednesday to the tentative starting lineup for the Southern League North Division All-Star team. His selection was announced by the Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs and made by North Division manager Phil Plantier, who currently manages the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx.
Lalli will be joining Smokies teammates Jim Adduci, Casey Coleman, Jay Jackson and Brian Schlitter on the North Division roster at Regions Park in Birmingham, Ala. for the July 13 game. Former Tennessee SS Darwin Barney was also selected to start for the North Division in the July 13 game. However, due to his promotion yesterday to Triple-A Iowa he's been replaced by Carolina Mudcats SS Zack Cozart.
