Jacksonville, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns have made the following transaction in time for the July 1 game against the Montgomery Biscuits:
RHP A.J. (Andrew) Battisto has been promoted to Jacksonville from the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League. A jersey number will be assigned upon his arrival this afternoon.
The Suns have 24 active players, the Southern League maximum, with six players on the disabled list and one player on the suspended list.
