BURLINGTON, VT ---- The Vermont Lake Monsters will host the Tri-City ValleyCats on Sunday, August 7th as part of the Lake Monsters' Flood Victim Awareness Game. FEMA - Federal Emergency Management Agency - will be at historic Centennial Field for the 1:05 game reaching out to families and individuals who were affected by the devastating floods during the spring. All those individuals who were affected by the flood, along with the emergency response agencies that responded to the flooding, will be offered free admission to the game. Simply approach the box office at Centennial Field and briefly explain how you were affected in order to receive your tickets. "As an organization that was drastically affected by the flood, we understand the impact it had on people's lives," Assistant General Manager Joe Doud said. "We hope that Sunday's game will give thousands of Vermonters who felt the impact of the flood some immediate practical assistance and some peace of mind moving forward."
