LAFC to Host Loudoun United FC in Round-Of-16 Match in 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) will host Loudoun United FC of the United Soccer League Championship (USL) in the Round of 16 of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on May 21 at 7:30 p.m. PT at BMO Stadium.

Tickets for the win-or-go-home match will be available this week and are $20 for general admission seats and $15 for the Supporters' Section. Visit https://www.lafc.com/tickets/ to purchase tickets.

The match will be streamed live on MLSSoccer.com, usopencup.com and uslsoccer.com.

LAFC advanced to the Round of 16 with a 3-1 victory over USL team Las Vegas Lights FC on May 8 in Las Vegas behind a goal from Kei Kamara and two goals from Cristian Olivera.

The U.S. Open Cup is the oldest national soccer tournament in the United States. The single-elimination tournament features professional and amateur teams competing for the prestigious U.S. Open Cup title and an automatic berth in next year's Concacaf Champions Cup tournament. The 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup features 96 teams from across the amateur and professional ranks, including eight MLS clubs, playing a total of 95 games from March to September.

This is the fifth time LAFC is competing in the U.S. Open Cup competition. The Club's best performance in the tournament came in 2018 when it advanced into the semifinal round.
