LAFC Loans Defender Mohamed Traore to Phoenix Rising

LAFC announced that the Club has loaned defender Mohamed Traore to Phoenix Rising. The loan, which begins immediately, runs through 2023. LAFC retains the right to recall the player.

Traore joined LAFC on Aug. 17, 2020 using the top spot in the MLS Waiver Order from the Soccer Institute of Monteverde.

A native of Dakar, Senegal, Mohamed made his Club and MLS debut on Sep. 9, 2020, vs. Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium.

In 2021 Traore joined LAFC's USL affiliate the Las Vegas Lights and made 23 appearances (23 starts) and registered one goal and three assists. In 2022, Traore registered 29 appearance (28 starts) for a total of 2,329 minutes played.
