
LAFC Hosts Galaxy Tomorrow, July 8 at Banc of California Stadium

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) will host the LA Galaxy on Friday, July 8. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT at Banc of California Stadium. (TV: ESPN, ESPN Deportes; Radio: 710 AM ESPN / ESPN app and 980 AM La Mera Mera)
LAFC enters the match against Galaxy with a 11-4-3 MLS regular season record and leads the league with 36 points. LAFC has proven to be one of the toughest teams to beat at home with a 7-1-2 record when playing at The Banc.
Galaxy enter the match with an 8-3-6 MLS regular season record good for fourth place in the Western Conference. Friday's contest will be 14th time the teams have faced off in the MLS regular season and second time this year. LAFC is level with the Galaxy when playing at Banc of California Stadium with a 1-1-3 record at home.
NEWS & NOTES:
LAFC is 11-4-3 through 18 games played and leads the league in points (36).
Since 2018, LAFC owns one of best home regular season records in MLS with 152 points, losing just eight regular season matches at home (44-8-20, W-L-T).
This season, LAFC is 7-1-2 at home this season for 22 of the club's MLS-best 36 points.
Friday's match will be the first opportunity for LAFC's newest defender Giorgio Chiellini to make his MLS debut.
