LAFC Hosts D.C. United Tomorrow, August 16 at Banc of California Stadium

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) will host D.C. United on Wednesday, August 16. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT at Banc of California Stadium. (TV: KCOP 13, Estrella TV 62.2, ESPN+; Radio: 710 AM ESPN / ESPN app and 980 AM La Mera Mera)

LAFC enters the match against D.C. with a 17-4-3 MLS regular season record and leads the league with 54 points. LAFC has proven to be one of the toughest teams to beat at home with a 10-1-2 record when playing at The Banc.

D.C. enter the match against LAFC with a 6-14-4 MLS regular season record, ranked 14th in the Eastern Conference. Saturday's contest will be the third time both sides face off since 2018.

NEWS & NOTES:

LAFC is now 17-4-3 on the season for a league-best 54 points. The club is six points ahead of Austin FC and the Philadelphia Union in the race for the Supporters Shield.

LAFC is now 10-1-2 at home this season for 32 of the club's MLS-best 54 points..

LAFC is now 17-0-1 when scoring two or more goals in a game this season and 9-0-0 when scoring three or more goals.

In eight games against the Eastern Conference this season,

LAFC has now scored in 38 consecutive regular season home games dating back to August 22, 2020. That is the second longest streak in MLS history.

LAFC has collected four points in two matches against D.C. United, including a 4-0 away win in the last meeting in April 2019. D.C. earned a 1-1 draw in their lone visit to Banc of California Stadium in May 2018.
