LAFC Earn 0-0 Tie in Philadelphia in 2022 MLS Cup Re-Match

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) played to a 0-0 tie against the Philadelphia Union in the wind and rain of Tropical Storm Ophelia at blustery Subaru Park in Chester, PA on Saturday night.

The Black & Gold are now 12-9-9 (45 points) in the MLS regular season and sit in second place in the Western Conference.

LAFC returns to Los Angeles to prepare for Wednesday's Campeones Cup, an annual match between the current MLS and LIGA MX Champions. LAFC hosts the 2023 Campeones Cup on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at BMO Stadium against LIGA MX's Campeón de Campeones Tigres UNAL. The match is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass and 710 AM ESPN Los Angeles and 980 La Mera. Mera (ESP).

NEWS & NOTES:

Goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau has now registered two clean sheets in just three appearances since returning from injury on Sept. 16.

The last time LAFC registered two consecutive clean sheets in the regular season this year was April 1, (0-0) at Colorado and on April 8 (3-0) vs. Austin FC.

Defender Jesus Murillo registered his 75th regular season start (81st appearance) tonight vs. Philadelphia Union.
