
LAFC Draws Galaxy 2-2 at Banc of California Stadium on Thursday Night

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) remained unbeaten at home, drawing the Galaxy 2-2 at Banc of California Stadium.
Forward Carlos Vela scored first for the Black & Gold in the 7th minute, assisted by forward Adama Diomande, before midfielder Lee Nguyen doubled the lead with a free kick in the 20th. The Galaxy would tally two goals in the second half through midfielder Romain Alessandrini (82') and forward Ola Kamara (86').
LAFC returns to MLS action next Sunday, August 5 taking on the New York Red Bulls at 3:00 p.m. PT (FS1, ESPNLA 710 AM, 980 AM) at Red Bull Arena. Club captain Laurent Ciman and recently voted MLS All-Star captain, Carlos Vela, will travel to Atlanta next week to participate in the 2018 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target on Wednesday, August 1.
With tonight's draw, the Club remains in second place in the Western Conference with an 10-5-6 (36 points) record.
