LA Galaxy Rally for 2-2 Draw with LAFC

In their 21st match of the 2018 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy earned a 2-2 draw against LAFC in their first match at Banc of California Stadium.

With the result, the Galaxy are now 9-7-5 on the season with 32 points.

The Galaxy are now unbeaten in their last eight MLS contests, going 4-0-4 in those games.

This year on the road, the Galaxy are now 4-3-4 in MLS competition.

The Galaxy have now scored 24 goals in their last 10 matches, an MLS leader.

LA have scored two or more goals in their last seven games.

LA are now 3-7-1 when conceding the first goal.

Forward Ola Kamara notched his ninth goal of the season, the second highest on the team.

Romain Alessandrini scored his sixth goal of the season. He has six goals and five assists on the season.

Forward Zlatan Ibrahimović tallied his fifth assist the season. He has 12 goals and five assists in his first year with the LA Galaxy.

Overall, the Galaxy are now 1-0-1 against LAFC.

LA Galaxy Head Coach Sigi Schmid has now gone 239-180-122 during his 19-year coaching career in Major League Soccer.

The match ended a three-game road stretch for the LA Galaxy, in which they went 2-0-1.

The Galaxy now return to StubHub Center to face Orlando City SC at 6:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, July 29. The match will be broadcast live on FS1.
