Los Angeles FC News Release

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Major League Soccer today announced the Club's 34-game schedule for the 2020 MLS Regular Season. LAFC will begin its third campaign in MLS with a three-match homestand in the heart of Los Angeles, hosting expansion side Inter Miami CF, Philadelphia Union and Portland Timbers FC at Banc of California Stadium.

The only way for fans and supporters to guarantee a seat for LAFC home matches is to become an LAFC Season Member. A limited number of memberships remain available. For more information and to place your deposit for 2020, visit the Club's Season Membership page here.

Single Match tickets will go on sale at a later date. Fans can fill out the single game request form here to receive pre-sale access and guarantee a chance to purchase single match tickets when they go on sale. A limited number of seats for each match will be available for group tickets. For more information and to reserve group seats, click here.

LAFC's opener against Inter Miami CF is slated for 2:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live on ESPN. The Club will face both Philadelphia and Portland at home before a back-to-back road trip facing FC Dallas on April 4 and Vancouver Whitecaps FC on April 11.

The Black & Gold will appear in a league-high 17 nationally televised matches, including six on FS1, four on ABC, two on ESPN, one on FOX, and four on Univision/UniMas.

Other notable matchups include a back-to-back contest against defending MLS Cup Champion Seattle Sounders FC (July 25 and Aug. 2) and a first-ever meeting against expansion side Nashville SC on June 27. LAFC will host the Galaxy on Saturday, May 16 at Banc of California Stadium and travel to Carson, CA on Sunday, Aug. 23 to face the Galaxy again during MLS Rivalry Week.

With Inter Miami CF and Nashville SC joining the league in 2020, LAFC will take on 10 Eastern Conference teams this season - five at home (MIA, PHI, NYC, NE, DC) and five on the road (CHI, MTL, RBNY, CIN, ATL). The Club will finish out the season on the road with a Decision Day meeting vs. Real Salt Lake on Sunday, Oct. 4 at Rio Tinto Stadium.

During the 2020 MLS regular season, each club will play 34 games, including 17 home games and 17 away games. Teams will face each of their conference opponents twice during the season, one game at home and one game away, for a total of 24 matches. The additional 10 regular season matches will be played against opponents from the other conference. The Club will not face Eastern Conference sides Columbus Crew SC, Orlando SC or Toronto FC this season.

In just its second year in MLS, LAFC captured the 2019 Supporters' Shield after a record-breaking campaign that set a new single-season points record (72) and finished tied for the most goals all-time (85). The Black & Gold registered the best regular season record (21-4-9), including a 13-1-3 record at Banc of California Stadium in 2019.

LAFC has now reached the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in its first two seasons. During the Club's inaugural campaign in 2018, the Black & Gold set a new expansion team points record (57), and matched the records for expansion team goals (70) and away wins (7).
