Inter Miami CF Reveals Historic 2020 MLS Schedule

Inter Miami CF today revealed the 34-match regular season schedule for its historic 2020 Major League Soccer (MLS) debut.

A myriad of milestones awaits Inter Miami in its first season, including hosting its first-ever home match on Saturday, March 14, against the Los Angeles Galaxy. From March 1 to October 4, Inter Miami will play 17 home and 17 away matches for a total of 34. The Club will face each Eastern Conference opponent twice during the season, one match at home and one match away, for a total of 24. The additional 10 matches on the schedule will be played against opponents from the Western Conference.

Broadcast Details:

Inter Miami will broadcast nationally in English and Spanish 17 times on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, FOX, FS1, FOX Deportes, Univision, UniMás and TUDN for the most expansive network coverage in league history.

Local broadcast details will be announced at a later date.

MLS LIVE will showcase every out-of-market match in the U.S. on ESPN. Univision and UniMás matches will be streamed live in English on Twitter.

In addition, MLS is distributed in more than 170 countries and territories around the world.

Schedule Highlights:

Inter Miami will start the season with two road matches before hosting its first-ever home match with its supporters at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, March 14, against the LA Galaxy.

Additional notable home matches include visits from reigning MLS champions Seattle Sounders on Friday, Aug. 28, Eastern Conference leaders New York City FC on Saturday, July 18 and MLS Cup finalists Toronto FC on Saturday, April 25.

Inter Miami will play the majority of its matches on weekends, with only three of its seven scheduled midweek matches taking place at home - including an encounter with the 2019 U.S. Open Cup winner Atlanta United on Thursday, July 23.

Inter Miami will play evening matches during the summer months between June and September.

The longest distance Inter Miami will travel for a regular season match is approximately 2,688 miles to Portland to face the Timbers on Sunday, Aug. 16.

Formally known as Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, Inter Miami will play all of its home matches at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. Located off Commercial Boulevard and I-95, the stadium stands adjacent to the Club's new 50,000 square foot state of the art training facility which includes seven professional fields. The facility ‚ will be the home to all Inter Miami teams including MLS, ‚ USL ‚ League One and ‚ Academy. It will also ‚ host international clubs, tournaments and local high school sporting events.
