LAFC Acquires $250,000 in General Allocation Money from Real Salt Lake in Exchange for Danny Musovski

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) announced today that the Club has acquired $250,000 in guaranteed General Allocation Money (GAM) from Real Salt Lake in exchange for forward Danny Musovski. LAFC will receive $150,000 in 2022 and $100,000 in 2023. LAFC will receive additional GAM if certain performance metrics are met.
"We want to thank Danny for his many contributions to the Club since he arrived in Los Angeles," LAFC Co-President & General Manager John Thorrington said. "He has proven himself to be a reliable player in our league, played in many big games, and scored some important goals for LAFC. We wish Danny all the best in this next step of his career."
Musovski, 26, made 16 MLS appearances (6 starts) this season, scoring three goals and registering three assists. He added two goals and an assist in two U.S. Open Cup matches, while also making three appearances for LAFC's USL affiliate the Los Vegas Lights.
Overall, Musovski totaled 53 regular season appearances (17 starts) for LAFC, scoring 11 goals and tallying five assists.
The Las Vegas native joined LAFC from Reno 1868 of the USL ahead of the 2020 season. He was originally drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft after a stellar collegiate career at UNLV.
