Ladies Are Invited to Hockey 'N' Heels Night on March 6

PEORIA, Ill. (February 24, 2009) - Hard hits, hockey pucks and high heels create the perfect combination for a great night out on the town. Throw in a pregame social, complete with drinks, appetizers and an informative Hockey 101 session and you have Hockey 'N' Heels Night with the Peoria Rivermen.

On Friday, March 6 when the Rivermen take on the Chicago Wolves it will be a great opportunity for female fans and newcomers alike to enjoy hockey and some of the finer things in life.

The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Lexus Club with a chance to mingle before the fun begins. Don't know a whole lot about hockey? No problem. A member of the Rivermen coaching staff will be on-hand to explain some rules and answer questions. Then the experts take over from Meliss' Beauty and Grooming Source.

Representatives will provide hair and cosmetic touch-ups and consultations along with hand massages and product samples. Each participant will receive a gift bag as well. Following the game will be an exclusive meet-and-greet with some of the Rivermen players.
