This year's silent auction features many valuable sports memorabilia items, including hockey and non-hockey items. Signed authentic National Hockey League jerseys highlight the list of available items. The following jerseys are up for auction:

Denis Hamel - Philadelphia Flyers Dany Heatley - Ottawa Senators

Alexander Ovechkin - Washington Capitals Jason Spezza - Ottawa Senators

Martin St. Louis - Tampa Bay Lightning Jeremy Yablonski - St. Louis Blues

In addition to the NHL jerseys, a game-worn and signed Mattias Karlsson 2009 AHL All-Star jersey will be auctioned. Other B-Sens' memorabilia available include a team-signed helmet, jersey and stick.

The Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund has provided college scholarships to local graduating high school hockey players since 1987. That year a single $500 scholarship was awarded through the fund. In 2008, a total of $12,000 in scholarship money was awarded to six recipients. The scholarship is named in memory of Tommy Mitchell who passed away in a car accident in route to a hockey game in 1986. Tommy was the son of Senators executive vice president, Tom Mitchell.
