Labatt USA Named Title Sponsor of NHL Classic III

Syracuse, NY (August 28, 2002) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Labatt USA has reached an agreement with the Crunch to be the title sponsor of the NHL Classic III.

The Labatt USA NHL Classic III, which features the Columbus Blue Jackets against the Buffalo Sabres, will be held Friday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter in Syracuse, New York. This marks the third consecutive year the NHL has returned to Syracuse after a 27-year absence.

"The Syracuse Crunch are very excited to welcome Labatt USA as the presenting sponsor for this special event," said Crunch President and CEO Howard Dolgon. "Corporate support is vital to bringing an event such as this National Hockey League game to Central New York and to have a partner such as Labatt USA supporting this event simply adds to the prestige."

Tickets for the Labatt USA NHL Classic III are $30 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444.
