
Calder Cup Champions Begin Training Camp on Sept. 23

The 2002 Calder Cup Champion Chicago Wolves will open their ninth training camp at The Edge in Bensenville on Mon., Sept. 23, at 10 a.m.
Wolves Head Coach John Anderson and Assistant Coach Marty Howe will run the camp, which is highlighted by three preseason games, including two played at suburban Chicago rinks.
The Wolves preseason slate will start with a match-up against the Milwaukee Admirals at Wilson Park Ice Arena in Milwaukee on Sat., Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. The Wolves return to the Chicago area for another tilt against the Admirals at the West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows on Wed., Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m. The Wolves close their exhibition schedule against the Grand Rapids Griffins at The Edge in Bensenville on Sat., Oct. 5, at 7 p.m.
Tickets for Wolves preseason home games can be purchased at the host rinks for $5.
The Wolves will raise their 2002 Calder Cup Championship banner when they open their second American Hockey League season against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Oct. 12, at 7 p.m.
