The Galaxy (5-5-6, 21 points) are 14-16-9 all-time against Crew SC in MLS Regular Season meetings, going 4-9-5 in road matches against the Eastern Conference opponent. In their most recent matchup, the Galaxy fell to Columbus 4-1 at MAPFRE Stadium (formerly Columbus Crew Stadium) on Aug. 16, 2014.

The team will enter Saturday's game winless in their last 14 MLS matches on the road away from StubHub Center, including last year's MLS Cup Playoffs matches. During that span, the team has gone 0-7-7. This season on the road, the Galaxy are 0-4-4 while scoring 6 goals and allowing 14.

The LA Galaxy snapped a 29-game unbeaten streak in all competitions at StubHub Center Saturday with a 1-0 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. During the 29-game unbeaten streak at StubHub Center (including 2014 MLS Cup Playoff matches, away matches against Chivas on April 6, 2014 & August 31, 2014 and a CONCACAF Champions League match on March 12, 2014), the Galaxy outscored opponents 65 to 18 for a +47 goal differential. The Galaxy also ended 23-game home MLS Regular Season unbeaten streak (17-0-6) at StubHub Center, which was the longest in club history and the third-longest in Major League Soccer history.

The Galaxy will be without the services of Robbie Keane, A.J. DeLaGarza and Bradford Jamieson IV this Sunday, who are all away with their respective national teams.
