
LA Galaxy to Host Watch Party on October 20 at Dignity Health Sports Park's Legends Plaza for Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs Match

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy will host a watch party at Legends Plaza at Dignity Health Sports Park when the club travels to Allianz Field for a match against Minnesota United in Round One of the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs on Sunday, Oct. 20. The game will kick off at 5:30 p.m. PT with doors opening at 4 p.m. PT for the watch party, presented by Modelo.
The event is free and open to the public and all fans attending are encouraged to bring their own seating. Food trucks will be on site and drink specials available to fans, including 12oz Modelo and Corona for $5 and Michelada for $8. Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited and the stadium's clear bag policy will be in effect.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive an LA Galaxy playoff t-shirt. Fans will be also able to purchase player products at the LA Galaxy Team Store for 20% off. Additionally, DJ Vick One, the LA Galaxy Star Squad and Cozmo will be on hand as well as the LA Galaxy Gaming Truck, with fans able to play FIFA 20 on site.
Should the LA Galaxy beat Minnesota United FC, the club will host a watch party for their ensuing matchup, an MLS Western Conference Semifinals contest at LAFC on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. PT.
Following the conclusion of the 2019 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy earned the No. 5 seed in the MLS Western Conference standings and will face No. 4 seed Minnesota United FC in postseason play. The winner will advance to the MLS Western Conference Semifinals with a contest at LAFC on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. PT on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
In 24 seasons, this is the 19th time in club history that the LA Galaxy will take part in postseason play. In all, the club holds a 44-22-7 playoff record with an MLS best five MLS Cup victories. Their 44 playoff wins are the most of any team in MLS.
