- With the result, the Galaxy finished 5th in the MLS Western Conference Standings.
- In the MLS Cup Playoffs, the Galaxy will travel to face Minnesota United FC, the 4th seed in the Western Conference standings. Time and date will be announced.
- The LA Galaxy are now 11-12-7 all-time vs. Houston.
- On the road, LA are 5-8-3 vs. the Dynamo all time.
- This year on the road, LA gave gone 5-10-2 with 22 goals scored and 34 conceded.
- The Galaxy are 13-2-1 this season when scoring the game's opening goal, and 3-13-1 when conceding first.
- When leading at halftime, LA are 7-2-1. They are 9-4-2 when tied at halftime and 0-10-0 when trailing at halftime.
- With a goal in today's contest, forward LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now scored 30 goals during the 2019 MLS Regular Season, expanding on his club record for goals in a season.
