In their final match of the 2018 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy (13-12-9, 48 points) fell 2-3 to Houston Dynamo (10-16-8, 38 points) on Sunday afternoon at StubHub Center.

With the result, the LA Galaxy do not qualify for the 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs.

Dominic Kinnear finished the season 3-2-1 in his six games as LA Galaxy Interim Head Coach.

Ola Kamara recorded a first-half brace to bring his season total to 14 goals.

Ashley Cole recorded a club record 10th assist as a defender. He led all defenders in MLS in assists this season.

Romain Alessandrini recorded his eighth and ninth assists of the season. He finished with 11 goals and nine assists in his second LA Galaxy season.

The LA Galaxy were 8-5-4 at home this season. They were 5-7-5 on the road.

LA Galaxy Interim Head Coach Dominic Kinnear is now 170-136-135 during his 15-year coaching career in Major League Soccer.
