- In their first road test of the season, the LA Galaxy fell 2-0 to FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas on Saturday afternoon.
- Guillermo Barros Schletto made three changes to his starting lineup that earned a 2-1 win against Chicago Fire last week at Dignity Health Sports Park. Chris Pontius, Ema Boateng and Joe Corona started in place of Emil Cuello and an injured Romain Alessandrini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
- Joe Corona earned his LA Galaxy debut after being signed to the team midweek.
- 20-year-old LA Galaxy homegrown Ethan Zubak made his MLS debut when he was subbed on in the 75th minute. Zubak was signed on Friday.
- Efrain Alvarez made a second straight substitute appearance.
- Guillermo Barros Schelotto is now 1-1-0 all-time as a head coach in MLS.
- In their next match, the Galaxy will host Minnesota United FC at 7:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, March 16 at Dignity Health Sports Park.
