LA Galaxy Partner with Adidas on LA Galaxy Gazelle Sneaker Collaboration

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy have announced a sneaker collaboration with adidas - the LA Galaxy Gazelle, which will go on sale to the public beginning Saturday, Nov. 13.

Reinforcing its position as the brand of sport culture in Los Angeles, adidas is launching a unique design that pays homage to the LA Galaxy and their fans: the LA Galaxy Gazelle, a silhouette favored by the world's terrace culture, a reference to the most vocal and hardcore fans who stand in terraced areas within a stadium.

The LA Galaxy Gazelle, which is inspired by the club's primary colors of navy, white and gold, will be available on Saturday, Nov. 13 at adidas.com at 9:00 a.m. PT, Soccer.com and finer adidas stockists (Niky's Sports, Shoe Palace, Fanatics, WSS) in the Los Angeles area. The Gazelle has a nubuck upper in navy blue, "GALAXY" lettering in metallic gold alongside the three stripes of the shoe and an LA quasar hit on the heel. Galaxy fans will be able to visit LAGalaxy.com/Gazelle to access a downloadable poster, videos and images centered around the sneakers and to receive a calendar of events that include activations around the LA Galaxy Gazelle.

"We are excited to partner with adidas on the LA Galaxy Gazelle, showcasing an OG sneaker with one of the original clubs in MLS," said LA Galaxy Chief Marketing Officer Doug Vosik. "The LA Galaxy have united the Los Angeles and greater Southern California soccer-loving community for over 26 years, and it's an honor to celebrate our rich history with the fans and supporters with the LA Galaxy Gazelle."

Sneaker customizers Factory8384 have hand-made one pair of the Gazelle, using the home jersey of the LA Galaxy, which will be made available to one adidas Creators Club winner. Registration to enter to win these rare sneakers will be from Nov. 15 - 18 at adidas Creators Club; a winner will be announced on Nov. 19.

An LA Galaxy "Friends + Family" Gazelle, inspired by the 2021 Community Kit and bringing in retro colors and logos from the club's history, will be available in limited quantities and exclusively at FootyCon on the NTWRK app on Nov. 10. Notably, proceeds from FootyCon will benefit community efforts at schools in the greater Los Angeles area.

On Saturday, Nov. 13, the Galaxy, in partnership with Tlaloc Studios and adidas, will host "An Eternal Love" photo exhibition. Taking place from 6 - 8 p.m. PT, the pop-up art show at Tlaloc Studios (447 East 32nd St, Los Angeles, CA 90011) will showcase images from local photographers Roberto Mora, Jorge Cortez, Sean Maung and Khris Garay and their work around the LA Galaxy Gazelle. Along the art floor will be two LA Galaxy custom shoe boxes, crafted by Southern California resident Jonathan Bernal, which will be filled with the LA Galaxy Gazelle sneaker. Additionally, the LA Galaxy, adidas and Tlaloc Studios will donate over 300 pairs of sneakers to students of Dolores Huerta Elementary School in South Los Angeles.
