
LA Galaxy Announce 2022 Roster Decisions

LA Galaxy News Release
LOS ANGELES - Following the conclusion of the 2022 campaign, the LA Galaxy today announced their current roster status for the 2023 season.
Players already under contract for the 2023 season include goalkeeper Jonathan Bond, defenders Julián Araujo, Nick DePuy, Raheem Edwards, Marcus Ferkranus, Chase Gasper, Kelvin Leerdam and Jalen Neal; midfielders Efraín Álvarez, Gastón Brugman, Douglas Costa, Mark Delgado, Samuel Grandsir, Carlos Harvey, Riqui Puig and forwards Kévin Cabral and Dejan Joveljić.
The Galaxy have exercised the contract options on the following players: defenders Martín Cáceres, Séga Coulibaly, midfielders Daniel Aguirre, Jonathan Pérez, Adam Saldaña and forwards Javier "Chicharito" Hernández and Preston Judd.
LA did not exercise the 2023 contract options on goalkeepers Jonathan Klinsmann and Richard Sánchez, defender Eriq Zavaleta and midfielder Víctor Vázquez but remains in discussions with them for the 2023 season.
LA declined the 2023 contract option of defender Jorge Villafaña and midfielder Sacha Kljestan is out of contract.
