
New York Red Bulls Midfielder Cristian Cásseres, Jr. Selected to Venezuela Roster for Upcoming Friendlies

HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls midfielder Cristian Cásseres, Jr. has been selected to the Venezuelan Men's National Team roster for their upcoming November friendlies.
Cásseres, Jr. and Venezuela will play in two international friendlies during November, first they will face off against Panama on Tuesday, November 15 and then Syria on Sunday, November 20.
Cásseres, Jr. will be a part of his fourth Venezuelan roster this calendar year. The midfielder made his most recent appearance for Venezuela coming on as a second-half substitute in a 1-0 victory against Saudi Arabia. Cásseres, Jr. has made 17 caps for the Venezuelan national team and has logged 818 minutes of action.
The Caracas, Venezuela native made 27 MLS appearances for the Red Bulls this season, where he tallied two goals and six assists, a new-career high. Cásseres, Jr. recorded his first two career multi-assist matches this season and had a team-high three game-winning assists.
