
LA Galaxy and Time Warner Cable Deportes Announce Return of Galaxy Confidencial

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, February 26, 2014) - The LA Galaxy and Time Warner Cable Deportes today announced the return of the original, documentary-style series, Galaxy Confidencial premiering Thursday, February 27 at 9:30 p.m. As the exclusive local home of the LA Galaxy, the series will bring audiences new levels of access to the club and team while continuing to deliver unique content created especially for the Galaxy's Spanish-language supporter base.
In an unprecedented agreement between Time Warner Cable Deportes, the LA Galaxy and Mexican cable network operator, TVC Deportes, every Galaxy Confidencial episode will be telecast in Mexico, making it available to TVC Deportes' six million subscribers. ÃÂ ÃÂ
In the premiere episode, Galaxy Confidencial will feature a look back at the team's performance in 2013, an introduction to the players on the roster for the 2014 season, an inside look at the team's pre-season match in Mexico and exclusive video of the players during their offseason.ÃÂ
This season, the LA Galaxy story will be narrated by former Mexican national soccer team goalkeeper and Time Warner Cable Deportes Galaxy analyst, MartÃ-n "El Pulpo" Zúñiga. Galaxy Confidencial is part of the extensive coverage plans that Time Warner Cable Deportes will dedicate to the four-time MLS Cup champions in addition to live game telecasts. All Galaxy games on the network will be called by Samuel Jacobo with Martin Zúñiga adding the commentary. Both will be accompanied by the team's inside reporter, Elmur Souza who will continue to report on all things-Galaxy as the network sideline reporter in addition to a host of collaborators with in-studio, pre and post-game coverage.
