Darin Mastroianni extended his consecutive on-base streak to 27 games with a single up the middle. Jonathan Diaz followed with a walk. On a double steal attempt, catcher Mike Nickeas threw the ball into the outfield allowing Mastroianni to score and Diaz to move to third. Shawn Bowman singled Diaz in to make it 2-0.

Travis Snider hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Sanchez before Bowman (2-for-4, HR, 4 RBI) hit a three run homer just inside the left field foul pole for an 8-0 lead. Binghamton (47-41) scored its two runs off reliever Adrian Martin in the bottom of the seventh inning. Raul Reyes was hit-by-a pitch and D. J. Wabick (3-for-4, RBI) doubled him home to make it 9-1. Mike Nickeas walked, and after Jose Coronado grounded into a fielders choice, Kirk Nieuwenheis hit a sacrifice fly.

New Hampshire scored its final run in the top of the eighth inning. Thames tripled and scored on a ground out by Matt Liuzza to make it 10-2.

Trystan Magnuson, in his final tune-up before Sunday's MLB Futures Game in Anaheim, worked a scoreless ninth inning for the Fisher Cats.

On Saturday night, the Fisher Cats continue a four-game series in Binghamton. New Hampshire right-hander Zach Stewart (7-2, 4.38) will be making his first start since his Fourth of July no-hitter. The Mets counter with southpaw Mike Antonini (5-7, 4.08) in a 7:05pm game. Fisher Cats Pre-Game gets underway at 6:45pm with Bob Lipman on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network.
