Rock Cats Make 4 Roster Moves

New Britain Rock Cats News Release


New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League made four roster moves today - with three of them involving Catchers.

C Danny Lehmann, the 24-year-old Rice University product who is in his second season in New Britain, has been placed on the 7-Day Disabled List with a left shoulder strain;

C Jair Fernandez, the 23-year-old native of Cartagena, Columbia who is in his first season with the Rock Cats, has been placed on the Disabled List with a right knee sprain suffered in yesterday's game against Reading at New Britain Stadium;

C Allan de san Miguel, the 22-year-old native of Perth, Australia, will rejoin New Britain today from Ft. Myers in the Florida State League. The 5'10"/200-pound receiver played 22 games for the 2009 Rock Cats and was briefly with the Double-A club earlier this year. He will be in uniform tonight when the Rock Cats play at Portland, ME;

INF Yangervis Solarte, the 22-year-old native of Valencia, Venezuela who is in his second season in New Britain, has been placed on the 15-day Disabled List with a strained knee.
