Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders have assigned 18 year old defenceman Kyle Aschim to the St. Albert Steel of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Aschim, the Raiders 7th round pick in the 2005 WHL Bantam draft was in his second full season with the team.
In 08-09 Aschim has appeared in 10 games with one assist and 4 minutes in penalties. In 07-09 Aschim played in 29 games with one assist.
The move reduces the Raiders roster to 22 players: 13 forwards, 7 defencemen and 2 goaltenders.
