Krause Drives in Three and Extends Hit Streak in Boulders' Win

Kevin Krause stayed hot on Thursday as he drove in three runs during the Boulders' 5-2 win over the Ottawa Champions in Canada. Krause extended his hitting streak to 13 games, going 2-5 with a home run (his second in as many nights), three RBI and a run scored.

Krause also added on to his on base streak, now reaching base safely 15 games in a row.

Rockland's first two runs came in on a JC Rodriguez RBI groundout and a Mike Montville RBI single, both in the second inning. Then Krause delivered his RBI single in the third and a two-RBI home run in the fifth.

Travis Hissong provided the defensive support for the Boulders, pitching a season-high eight innings to earn the win. He did not give up a run, and he struck out six.

Rockland continues its run toward the playoffs on Friday in game two against Ottawa. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The Boulders return to Rockland on Monday with a 7:00 p.m. game against the New Jersey Jackals.
