
KO at "The Joe": Part Deux

TROY, N.Y. - On Saturday, August 9 the Tri-City ValleyCats will bring boxing back to Joseph L. Bruno Stadium for the second consecutive year. The second "KO at The Joe" will feature approximately 10-15 bouts from boxers throughout New York State including Albany, Schenectady and Troy. The night of boxing kicks off at 6:00 pm with gates opening at 5:00 pm.
KO at "The Joe" made its debut in July, 2007 when local boxer Shannon Miller made his return to the ring. The card also featured a women's featherweight title bout. Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, typically the home to the Tri-City ValleyCats is transformed from a baseball diamond to a boxing ring for a night. The ring is built on the area around home plate with seating in the stands.
Tickets for the second "KO at The Joe" can be purchased at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium Box Office. Tickets cost just $15 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under and free for those under the age of five. Seating will be general admission.
