
Knights name Syvret captain

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Danny Syvret has been named captain of the 2004-2005 London Knights. Syvret, 19 was voted captain by his teammates and coaching staff for the upcoming season. Syvret was the Knight's 5th Round Pick in the 2001 OHL Draft from the Cambridge Jr. B Hockey Club. Syvret will begin his Captaincy on Friday, September 24th when the Knights travel to Kitchener to face the Rangers to begin the 2004-2005 OHL Season.
The London Knights also named 4 players as Assistant Captains for the 2004-2005 Season. Overage Left Winger Brandon Prust, Right Winger Corey Perry, Left Winger Dylan Hunter and Right Winger Rick Steadman will serve as Assistant Captains during the 2004-2005 OHL Season.
