
Knights Get Two More From Calgary

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that the Calgary Flames, their National Hockey League affiliate, have assigned two players to Omaha. The announcement was made by Flames' General Manager Darryl Sutter. Both players will join the team in time for the start of the 2006-07 regular season which begins Friday, October 6th when the Knights visit the Peoria Rivermen at 7:30 p.m.
Those players assigned include:
Defensemen (1) - Brad Ference
Forwards (1) - Eric Godard
The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights will host their home opener on Friday, October 20th when they welcome the Syracuse Crunch at 7:00 p.m. The first 5,000 fans will receive a magnetic schedule courtesy of Alegent Health. The complete season schedule can be found on-line at omahaaksarbenknights.com.
