
Sens add four to roster after clearing waivers

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators added four players to their roster on Tuesday after each player cleared the waiver deadline at 12:00 noon. Arriving from Ottawa are defensemen Andy Hedlund, Jamie Allison and Tomas Malec, along with forward Serge Payer.
Binghamton now has 21 players on their roster. All 21 players were assigned from Ottawa. Binghamton invited nine ECHL players to training camp on tryout agreements, but all were released from their agreements.
Binghamton will kick off the regular season on Saturday, Oct.7 vs. Syracuse at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.
Tickets are still available for opening weekend. Fans can purchase tickets at the Senators front office on third floor of the Arena. That office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Fans can also purchase tickets by calling 722-SENS.
